And now, we've got you images of the actor reaching his residence in Bandra, Mumbai from the airport. While Aamir evaded the media at the airport, he couldn't escape the shutterbugs outside his house.
As expected, security was beefed up outside his building, with several policemen keeping a watchful eye. The actor was even escorted from the airport, all the way to his home, by the police force.
These measures have been taken after Aamir's statement on intolerance created an outrage across the country. A few days ago, the actor stated that worried over the "growing disquiet", his wife Kiran Rao asked him if they should move out of India.
