Twinkle Khanna Pens A ‘Cheesy’ Birthday Wish For Sister ‘Rinkston’ Aka Rinke Khanna As She Eats Cheese
Actor Twinkle Khanna’s sister Rinke Khanna— the younger daughter of Dimple Kapadia and late actor Rajesh Khanna— is celebrating her birthday today. The Mela actor took to her Instagram account and penned a sweet yet cheesy birthday note for Rinke just because her sister likes to eat cheese. Sharing a lovely picture of the Jhankaar Beats actor, Twinkle mentioned that since Rinke has hots for cheese, she thought of slathering some onto her birthday greeting as well. We are loving this post!

“Happy birthday Rinkston! Here’s to someone who can make me laugh at the most sombre moments. The last lot of Rinkes was manufactured in the seventies and they have clearly lost the mould because they don’t make sisters like you anymore. Since you eat cheese, unlike me, I thought I would slather some onto your birthday greeting as well:) #birthdaygirl” Twinkle Khanna wrote for her sister. Just a couple of days ago, Twinkle had shared a childhood monochrome picture of herself and sister Rinke along with their aunt Simple Kapadia.

Feeling a little nostalgic about the time when she used to have Phantom cigarettes, Mrs Kumar wrote, “Nostalgia is akin to the red and white Phantom cigarettes of our childhood. Like all sugary treats, it may prove detrimental as a daily habit, but it could provide occasional respite. A way of transporting ourselves to a time when we felt loved and safe, and sometimes, oh so cool, as we inhaled the minty smell of a candy-stick held between our lips. Nostalgia reminds us of not just how we lived, but what it was like to thrive.”

Rinke Khanna made her film debut with Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi in 1999 after which she changed her screen name from Rinkle to Rinke. She also made her Tamil debut in the 2001 film Majunu and made her last appearance on the big screen with Chameli that released in 2004.
