“Akshaykumar funding your pocket money n kittiparties. Perhaps all patriotic Indians would end up hitting that source of funding. Pandey* failed . Akki are you listening as we love you. Gharme jad buddhhii thik karo akki,” wrote a troll.
Khanna is not new to trolls and she has often landed in public scrutiny for her remarks.
Another wrote, “Is it coz #KashmirFiles ate into Bachan Pandey. Shame on you. If it happens to you and your family then only people like you will understand.”
Akki has audaciously accepted the defeat of ‘Bachchhan Paandey’, which fell flat in front of ‘The Kashmir Files’ and for all those who didn’t understand the comment, let us spell it out, Twinkle has not resorted to the criticism of the movie but has rather taken a dig at all those filmmakers scurrying to register some ‘files’ and bank on the success of ‘The Kashmir Files’! The Kashmir Files also starred Darshan Kumaar, Mithun Chakraborty, and Pallavi Joshi in pivotal roles. The film narrated a heart-wrenching story of the exodus and killings of Kashmiri Pandits in the Jammu and Kashmir valley in 1990. The movie was released on 11 March and is inching closer to earn Rs. 250 crore mark at the box office.
