Last week, we brought you the exclusive story about Udaan actress Spandan Chaturvedi being roped in to play the younger version of Alia Bhatt in SS Rajamouli's RRR. And now, we hear the actress has bagged another big project where she will play the younger version of Vidya Balan in the biographical film, Shakuntala Devi.
A source informed to SpotboyE.com that the young actress is doing two big projects this year. Spandan who is currently in Hyderabad shooting for Alia Bhatt's film has already shot for Shakuntala Devi. The film is a biography on the life of math genius, Shakuntala Devi who is also known as the Human Computer. Sanya Malhotra, Jisshu Sengupta and Amit Sadh are also part of the film.
Sharing first look of the picture on social media last year, Vidya had written, "Excitement is multiplying each day! Time to dig into the 'root' of the mathematical genius, 'Shakuntala Devi'. 'Filming Begins". Sharing a motion image, she had captioned the pic, "She was extraordinary, in every sense of the word! Know the story of the child prodigy and the human computer, 'Shakuntala Devi'".
Coming back to Spandan, she has been one of the most popular child actors on Television and was part of many popular TV shows like Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera, Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, Udaan and Jhalak Dikhlaja 9.
