Urmila Matondkar’s Hacked Instagram Account RETRIEVED; Thanks Mumbai Police For Their Support

A lot of celebrities’ social media accounts are being hacked every now and then. It was just a few days back, Sushmita Sen announced on her Insta that her elder daughter Renne’s Insta account was hacked. This morning, we reported that actress-turned-politician Urmila Matondkar’s Instagram was hacked. The actress had taken to Twitter to inform her fans about the same. She Tweeted that she received a message in her DM that asked her to follow steps to verify the account. Soon after following the instruction, her account was hacked.
But now here’s good news! Urmila has recovered the account. After filing an FIR, Urmila’s account was recovered with the help of Mumbai police and cyber cell. Urmila took to Twitter to announce the same. Urmila shared a picture of herself dressing in 6-yard, Urmila wrote, “And I’m back again thank you @instagram and @mumbaipolice for all your cooperation in retrieving my account even though few of my posts are missing Lots of love to all my #instafamily.” Earlier informing her fans about her account getting hacked, Urmila had tweeted, “My Instagram account has been hacked @instagram First they DM you n ask to follow a few steps n verify the account n it then it gets hacked..really..!!??? #notdone.”
She later Tweeted, “Cyber crimes” is not something that women should take lightly..as I went to file FIR on my @instagram ac hacking met this dynamic DCP #cybercrime @MumbaiPolice Smt. Rashmi Karandikar who enlightened me lot more on the issue. Will surely be working on it in the future. @MahaCyber1.”
After resigning from Congress, Urmila Matondkar joined another political party Shiv Sena in presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.
