Actor turned politician Urmila Matondkar recently spoke out in veteran actor and Samajwadi Party MP, Jaya Bachchan’s support after she lashed out at actor and Lok Sabha member Ravi Kishan and  Kangana Ranaut’s remarks against the Hindi film industry, during the Monsoon Session of Parliament. In an interview with Times Now later, Kangana called Matondkar a ‘soft porn star’. Now, Urmila Matondkar tweets after she receives support from the country and thanks to the ‘real people of India’ with folded hands, for standing by her.

On Twitter, Urmila Matondkar reacted to the support she received from fans all over. The actor turned politician tweeted, “Thank you the “Real People of India” and a rare breed of unbiased, dignified media for standing by me. It’s Your victory over fake IT trolls n propaganda. Deeply touched..humbled #JaiHind.”

Urmila Matondkar thanked all the ‘real people of India for supporting and standing by her after Kangana Ranaut’s ‘soft porn star’ remarks. The actor turned politician also thanked the ‘rare breed of unbiased, dignified media’ for standing by her during the tough times. She then spoke about how it’s the victory of everyone who stood by her over the fake IT trolls and propaganda. Urmila Matondkar then mentioned that she is deeply touched with the love she received and humbled and concluded her tweet with ‘#JaiHind.’

Meanwhile, after Kangana Ranaut’s remarks, Sadak 2 actress Pooja Bhatt sing praises of Urmila Matondkar’s performance in the 1995 film Rangeela.
