When a user slammed Varun Dhawan for posing with a policeman while not following the COVID-19 precautionary measure, he cleared the air saying, it’s a ‘2 months old pic’ but also called him an idiot.

Varun Dhawan is one such actor who is loved by one and all. He enjoys a humongous fan following amongst kids and elders. On his social media, Street Dancer 3D actor is urging all his fans to stay home and stay safe as this is the only way to combat this novel virus spread across the globe. While the actor is enjoying all his quarantine time with his beloved family, he grabbed headlines for a 2-month-old picture.

This afternoon, a Twitter handle shared a picture of Varun Dhawan shaking hands with Mumbai Police. The caption of the picture read, “@varun_dvn shares this heartwarming picture with a policeman, thanking him for his services during #coronavirus pandemic.#VarunDhawan.” But seems like, this did not go down well with one user as he replied, “Where is social distancing, mask and gloves. Idiot is shaking hands with policeman risking him of infection. The bad example set by this actor.”

In his tweet, he slammed Varun for not wearing a mask and addressed him as an idiot for shaking hands with a policeman. Well, after the actor came across this Tweet, he gave a prompt reply and said, “Idiot this is an old picture clicked 2 months back love u.” Replying to VD the user then replied and said, “Hahaha, should have mentioned that. Love you too.”

Recently, Varun Dhawan went live on IG with one of his close friend Zoa Morani, who is infected with Coronavirus. In his video, VD said, “It’s very close to home right now.
