Varun Sings For Badlapur

Varun Dhawan has sung for his upcoming film Badlapur. The song in question is Jeena Jeena. Touted to be one of the biggest love song of the year, Jeena Jeena has been recorded by the Pakistani singer Atif Aslam.
Varun broke into the song last week, while discussing the sound track with the film's music composer Sachin-Jigar at the duo's studio.
The film's director Sriram Raghavan and the producer Dinesh Vijan were also present at the studio.
A source says, "It was an impromptu exercise that happened in the middle of a fun discussion with Sachin and Jigar. Varun decided to record Jeena Jeena and hear how his voice sounds. He has been toying with the idea of singing for a while now. Dinesh liked what Varun was doing- and he egged him on."
Confirming the story, Sriram says, "Yes, Varun has sung Jeena Jeena for us. At this point, we are however not too sure if his version make it to the film’s background score or its original sound track- but I must say that Varun sings very well."
Recently, Varun rapped for an ad film for a leading electronics brand. Last year, he rapped on stage with Badshah while promoting the romcom Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
