Varun, Zoya Team Up For An Ad

A few days ago, social media went into a tizzy when Varun Dhawan posted a picture with Zoya Akhtar.
The obvious conclusion everyone drew from the image was that Zoya and Varun were teaming up for a feature-length film.
To add fuel to the fire, Varun even gave a quote saying that 'something exciting' was underway with Zoya.
However, the truth, as SpotboyE has reliably learnt, is that the duo was only shooting an ad film.
"Zoya is yet to finalise the concept for her next film and she hasn't spoken to any actor for the film's casting," a source told SpotboyE.
When we asked Varun about what the ad is about, he said, "Wait for it. I can't reveal much but yes, it is not a feature film with Zoya."
