Vicky Kaushal And Sara Ali Khan To Play A Married Couple In Laxman Utekar’s Next Film
This Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan-starrer will go on floors on November 15
Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan are teaming up for the first time in Laxman Utekar’s next romantic comedy. The film will be backed by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films. The excitement has been up for this one, since its announcement, and the latest report piques our curiosity even more. Vicky and Sara will reportedly play husband and wife in the film. According to a report published in Bollywood Hungama, this romantic comedy will have Vicky and Sara as a married couple, who desire to have their own house.
They will be shown utilising the Indian government's flagship programme Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana introduced by honourable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. The story of the film will revolve around the drama created due to this. The movie's script was finalised a few months ago. The film is scheduled to go on floors on November 15, 2021. It will be shot in Ujjain and Gwalior in Uttar Pradesh. The movie was earlier offered to Ayushmann Khurrana. However, things did not fall into place, and makers got Vicky Kaushal on board.
Utekar earlier told PTI, “We have Vicky and Sara for a romantic-comedy. It is based in MP, maybe Ujjain or Gwalior. It is a small-town love story, like my previous films, in which I have had a social message. I always wanted to work with Vicky. He is such a fantastic performer. I am a fan of his. Sara has something in her and for this film she is apt, she will kill it. It is a fresh pairing and they will create magic.”
