Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif will be hosting a grand wedding reception next week
Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif tied the knot at Six Senses Fort Barwara, Rajasthan on December 9 in the presence of their family members and close friends. Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, Kabir Khan, Sharvari Wagh were among few celebs who attended the grand shaadi. Vicky and Katrina are now back in town after their wedding and made their first public appearance on Tuesday. The couple will now host a grand reception for their industry friends.
According to a report in BollywoodLife, Vicky and Katrina's reception will take place in JW Marriott. A source was quoted as saying, "Vicky and Katrina are planning to host a grand reception despite the Omicron threat in Mumbai. They will be abide by all the rules by BMC and follow all the protocols on the same."
It added, "They have decided to host the reception mostly in JW Marriott on December 20. Katrina and Vicky want to get back to work but before that, they want to finish all their wedding festivities and so they have decided on this date. Also, Christmas is largely celebrated by Katrina Kaif and the couple has planned to celebrate it together this time and so they want to keep the reception before Christmas." The source further added that Bollywood biggies like Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan have already received the invites to block their dates from their busy schedule.
"As the city is right now under Omicron threat, every guest will have to do their RT CPR test and get a negative report along with them to be a part of this celebration," it added.
After the wedding, Vicky and Katrina took to Instagram to share their wedding photos, along with identical notes. They wrote, "Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment. Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together."
