The rumours of Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal's wedding is spreading like a wildfire. Right from the couple's wedding destination to outfits, list of guests, numerous details are doing rounds, but none of it has been confirmed by the actors yet. While fans are waiting for an official announcement, Vicky's cousin has rubbished the rumours. She said that the marriage is not taking place.
The 'Sardar Udham' actor's maternal cousin Dr Upasana Vohra, in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, has said that the couple won't be tying the knot in December.
"Reports about preparations to the wedding dates are all rumours of being spread in the media. The marriage is not taking place. If such a thing happens, they will announce it. In Bollywood, such rumours are often circulated and later it turns out that it was something else. They are just temporary rumours. I had a talk with my brother recently. There is nothing like that. I don't want to comment on this issue anymore, but the marriage is not taking place at the moment," she said. Earlier, in a recent chat with BollywoodLife, Katrina Kaif denied all the rumours. On being asked why the rumours started, the Sooryavanshi actress said that she herself has been wondering how these rumours start circulating around town since the past 15 years.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the couple got engaged in a private ceremony. Later, in an interview with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Vicky revealed his first reaction to the rumours.
He said, "To be honest, mere pass woh mental space hi nahi tha, because I was right in the middle of a shoot... Funnily enough, what happens is, these rumours start at 9 o'clock in the morning by the media and by 4.30, the media only negates the same rumours and says 'no, it's not true'. So you don't have to do anything. I had my blinders on, on my work, and I keep focusing on work."
