With his prolific performance as Major Vihaan Singh Shergill in Uri: The Surgical Strike, Vicky Kaushal proved that he can do the roles of army officers with utmost perfection. Even in Raazi, Vicky essayed the role of a man in uniform. Well, for all his fans out there, here comes a treat. Vicky Kaushal in his next film will be seen as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The new look of the film was recently released and we are totally stumped to see Vicky in uniform again.

On Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw's death anniversary, Vicky took to his Instagram account to share the new look. In the caption, he wrote that he is totally honoured to be essaying this role in Meghna Gulzar's directorial. In the caption, he wrote, "A huge honour and an even bigger responsibility. #FieldMarshalSamManekshaw." With his 7.9 million followers, Vicky also shared an old video of the original Sam Manekshaw and wrote, "Remembering one of India's finest- Field Marshal #SamManekshaw. This journey is going to be very special! with @meghnagulzar #RonnieScrewvala @Bharat_rawail @rsvpmovies @bhavani.iyer @ishantanus."

It was almost a year ago that Vicky had announced this film by sharing the first look on social media. In the picture, he could be seen in the uniform and a huge moustache.



Sam Manekshaw was the Chief of Army Staff and had led the Indian force during the 1971 war against Pakistan. We are sure this film will fill our hearts with patriotism.
