Vicky Kaushal Was Offered Stree Before Rajkummar Rao; Actor Regrets Losing Out On It

Manmarziyaan pair Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu appeared on Neha Dhupia’s talk show BFFs With Vogue. The two are great friends off screen and their cute camaraderie made the session quite an amusing one. During one of the segments, when Vicky was asked to pick a film he regrets not doing, his answer was Stree and further he revealed that he was doing Manmarziyaan that time.
Well, Stree turned out to be a sleeper hit, while Manmarziyaan struggled at the box-office. However, Vicky’s performance in the latter earned him rave reviews and the movie garnered mixed response from the critics.
Coming back to their interaction on the talk show, Taapsee introduced Vicky in the sweetest manner possible. In return, Vicky too explained as to how their bond strengthened over time but they kicked it off from the first day of the shoot. He said, “I was in my blue hair and she in her red hair and I don’t know for some reason we just hit it off straight away. One striking thing about her personality is that she is immensely transparent as a person and she is a great talker. And I am a great listener.”
Also, during a segment of 'hook up, marry and kill', Taapsee said that she would hook up with Varun Dhawan, kill Abhishek Bachchan and marry Vicky Kaushal. She added that she finds her Manmarziyaan co-star “marriage material”.
On the work front, Taapsee who was last seen in Badla, will next be seen in Game Over, Saand Ki Aankh and Mission Mangal. On the other hand, Vicky will be seen in Sardar Udham Singh, followed by Karan Johar’s Takht and an untitled horror flick.
