Vidya Balan Is NOT Doing The Mayawati Biopic- Exclusive
Contrary to reports, SpotboyE.com has learnt that Vidya Balan is not doing the Mayawati biopic
Year by year, the number of biopics in Bollywood has been on the rise. We see several movies on the lives of political leaders of late and one more is being added to the list. Reports suggest that a biopic on Bahujan Samajwadi Party Chief Mayawati is in the works and speculations are growing fast that Vidya Balan will be playing the main lead in it.
However, this is far from the truth. SpotboyE.com has it that the Mayawati biopic is not on her radar. She was approached for Jayalalithaa biopic but since she is doing an Indira Gandhi web series very soon, she won’t be doing the Jayalalithaa one. But, the biopic on Mayawati one is not on her to-do list.

Meanwhile, Vidya will be making her Tamil debut in Ajith Kumar’s Nerkonda Paarvai, a remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer Pink. The actress will be paired opposite Ajith Kumar in the movie helmed by H. Vinoth. Producer Boney Kapoor in a statement said, “Happy to introduce Vidya Balan to Tamil audiences. She is paired with Ajith and her role is very special. Shraddha Srinath has also been roped in for a pivotal role. Rangaraj Pandey plays a very important character.”
She will also be seen in Jagan Shakti’s project titled Mission Mangal that stars Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha and Nithya Menon.
