The National Award and Padma Shri winner is all set to be honored with Doctor of Arts Honoris Causa degree.
An Ahmedabad university has named a scholarship programme in Vidya Balan's name and decided to give her an honorary doctoral degree.
The degree, in turn, will empower the Paa actress to choose a girl student every year for scholarship.
