The one-day long festival, Karva Chauth is celebrated amongst women (not men too) in India. Even Bollywood stars celebrate it with full zest. While we saw many pictures from the occasion floating on our social media handle, our eyes stopped when we got to see Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s Karwa Chauth photos. Virushka recently posted photos on their social media handles and they look super adorable. It is kind of impossible for us to take our eyes off from them.
In the pictures, Anushka and Virat are seen flashing their beautiful smile while clinging on to each other as they pose for a viral click. Anushka looked gorgeous in a Sabyasachi floral print sari, rounding her look with chooda and sindoor. While the Indian skipper Virat looked dapper in a black kurta and pyjama from Antar-Agni. While sharing pictures on their social media handles, Anushka wrote, “My partner for lifetime & beyond and my fasting partner for the day Happy karvachauth to all.” On the other hand, Virat shared the same picture and captioned it as, “The ones who fast together laugh together. Virat and Anushka always send their fans into a tizzy with their oh-so-adorable pictures on social media. Speaking of which, recently, when Virat scored a double hundred in the ongoing test match against South Africa, his wifey couldn’t contain herself and poured in lots of love and hearts to her hubby on her Instagram story.
Talking more about Karwa Chauth, this festival is mainly celebrated in North India where married women fast for their respective husbands for longer and safer life. The fast is said to be a nirjala fast which means no water and food. After doing puja and offering prayers to the moon, the women break their fast after seeing the moon. Karwa Chauth was celebrated on October 17.
Meanwhile, Anushka recently attended the Elle Beauty Awards 2019 where the Zero actress looked smoking hot. Sharma hasn’t announced her next film yet but the rumours are rife that the actress will be doing a cop film soon.
