Virat Kohli urgently flew from Guwahati to Mumbai to be with his beloved wife, Anushka Sharma, due to an unexpected situation and latter's pregnancy news. Despite his busy schedule with World Cup warm-up matches, he had to take an emergency flight before Team India's ICC ODI Cricket World Cup second warm-up match against the Netherlands in Thiruvananthapuram on October 3, 2023. Various sources confirmed Kohli isn't with team India and he is back in Mumbai with wifey and looks like he wants to spend time with Anushka before the busy schedule ahead. The Indian team, captained by Rohit Sharma, reached Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday evening for their second and last warm-up match scheduled for October 3, just ahead of the commencement of the ODI World Cup. A noteworthy absence from the team was former captain Virat Kohli and several media reports confirm he fly down to Mumbai for wifey Anushka Sharma. The star batsmen will directly play against the Aussies on October 8 in Chennai.
