Vishal Bhardwaj’s Khufiya Goes On Floors; Tabu To Join Ali Fazal And Wamiqa Gabbi In Delhi

Vishal Bhardwaj dropped the first look of Tabu from his upcoming venture, Khufiya, in September. The anticipation for the movie since then has been pretty high. Also starring Ali Fazal in the lead, the movie went on floors recently. According to a report published in Pinkvilla.com, Ali Fazal began filming for his portion last week in Delhi, and Tabu will be joining the cast today. The team is filming in Delhi and will remain stationed in the capital till the end of October. The movie’s next schedule will commence in early 2022.

Also besides Delhi, the movie will be shot in Himachal Pradesh and few other locations. Prior to Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi joined the crew on Friday.The report carried, “Ali started filming for his portion last week, while Wamiqa joined the team on Friday and Tabu joined them today. They will be filming in Delhi till the end of October, and then will resume again for the second schedule in early 2022. Some of the portions of this movie will also be shot in Himachal Pradesh, among a few other locations.”

Vishal Bhardwaj took to Instagram to announce the movie and penned in the caption, “Justice gets personal. I’m extremely thrilled to share Khufiya with you, a spy thriller inspired by true events. Coming soon, only on Netflix.” The movie also stars Ashish Vidyarthi in a pivotal role.

Vishal Bharadwaj will next begin work on his next film, son Aasmaan Bhardwaj’s debut venture, Kuttey. The movie also stars Arjun Kapoor, Konkona Sen Sharma, Naseeruddin Shah, Tabu, Kumud Mishra, Radhika Madan and Shardul Bharadwaj.
