Much to everyone’s dismay, Bollywood’s music industry lost a gem with composer-singer Wajid Khan’s sad demise. The music composer passed away today, on June 1, 2020, at a Mumbai hospital. Wajid Khan who was suffering from a kidney ailment died at the age of 42. As the news of the sad demise of Wajid Khan from the duo, Sajid-Wajid is all over the news, after several celebrities mourning his death, celebrities Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, and others remember the music composer.
Taking to Twitter, Sanjay Dutt tweeted, “Extremely saddened to hear about the demise of Wajid Khan. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Rest in peace brother!” In his tweet, Dutt expressed how extremely saddened he was to hear about the demise of Wajid Khan and mentioned that he will always be in his thoughts and prayers.
As Sanjay Dutt remembered the late music composer, actress Sonam Kapoor shared an unmissable picture with Wajid Khan from the promotions of her film Dolly ki Doli. Sharing the picture, Sonam wrote, “Rest in peace #wajidkhan.”

While Sidharth mentioned that he is deeply saddened to hear the news of Wajid khan passing away, actress Kiara Advani tweeted about how the music composer is ‘Gone too soon. Dream Girl actress Nushrat Bharucha also tweeted sharing that she is mourning the untimely demise Wajid Khan Ji and thanked him for his music.
