WAR CONTINUES! Varun Dhawan Removes Govinda’s Name From Judwaa 2
The war of words between Govinda and Varun Dhawan had shocked us all and now we can tell you that the feud is not yet a thing of the past
The clash between Varun Dhawan and Govinda was one that
no one saw coming. After all Varun is the son of Govinda’s long-time
collaborator David Dhawan and the young actor has often been labelled the ‘New
Govinda’ thanks to his comic timing and dance moves.
But then Govinda made it clear that he was not happy with
the comparison in some sharp words. Varun had refused
to speak ill of the senior actor but he has apparently not forgotten the
insult.

Need proof, just listen to the song Tan Tana Tan from
Varun’s upcoming film Judwaa 2. The new version of Tan Tana Tan has retained
most of the lyrics from the ‘90s hit but we noticed that Govinda’s name was
missing from the song.
The original number had the lyrics, "Govinda hai hero aur Madhuri hai heroine" but that line has been removed from the new song featuring Varun, Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapseee Pannu. It seems like the Dhawans are in no mood to forgive and forget.
For those who have come in late, Govinda had lashed out
at Varun while promoting his film Aa Gaya Hero.
"Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan both have a body
like Salman Khan. But they can't say it. If they call themselves as Salman
Khan, then they won't get films. They can't afford to be against Khan. This is
how the filmy world works. How can he (Varun) be like me? To become Govinda, he
needs to be innocent, uneducated and a poor village boy. Varun is already a son
of a director. In the last six years, he hasn't done more than two films with
his father, whereas I did 17 films with his father (David Dhawan),"
Govinda had said.

Govinda and David Dhawan delivered a string of superhits
in the ‘90s but that equation too has turned sour.
Speaking about it, Govinda had said: "When I asked
David to make the 18th film with me, he took my subject and titled it Chashme
Baddoor and cast Rishi Kapoor in it.Then I asked him to put me as a guest
appearance. He didn't do that too. After that, I didn't meet him for some
years. I kept requesting him to take at least one shot with me so that it could
be my 18th film with him. But I don't know what he had in his mind."
