We were the first one to tell you that Salman Khan discovery Warina Hussain who marked her Bollywood debut in LoveYatri opposite Aayush Sharma is in the running for Nikkhil Advani's 7-season web series which will be based on the Mughal Dynasty and will be streaming on Hotstar.
Now, we have an update on that front. The filmmaker has decided to keep the project on hold for now, so the actress will have to wait a li'l longer. The web show will have 9 episodes each, so in totality, the series will have 63 episodes. We had also heard that the subject for the first 3 episodes has been finalised and they will begin from Babar, the Mughal ruler who laid the foundation of the dynasty followed by the season based on his son, Humayun’s life and third season on Akbar. The subjects for other seasons are yet to be decided.

The web series will be initially directed by Nikkhil, however, later he may give various episodes to other well-noted directors. This is the first time Nikkhil will be exploring digital space.
Speaking about the filmmaker, his next film with Shahid Kapoor being directed by Ranjit Tiwari will be based on 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Shahid's role is yet to be decided. Coming back to the web series, let's wait to see when the director plans to fast-pedal on the project.
