‘Baby Doll’ hit-maker Kanika Kapoor is all set to start a new chapter in her life. The ace singer will tie the knot with her London-based businessman boyfriend Gautam this year in May. This would be Kanika’s second wedding as she was earlier married to Raj Chandok, who coincidentally was also a businessman based in London. Kanika and Gautam will reportedly tie the knot on May 20.
For the unversed, Kanika and Gautam have been in a relationship for more than a year, and their decision to marry each other was in talks for the past six months. For her D-Day, the singer is busy shopping for the wedding. As reported by ETimes, when Kanika was asked about her wedding plans she replied with ‘folded hand’ emojis and a ‘big happy smile.’ Although the versatile singer did not reveal much about her wedding news, she stated, “Please check my updates on Instagram. I finished 3 successful tours in the US- Houston, Jersey, and Washington," and also excitedly added, "10 more to go."
For the unversed, Kanika and Raj ended their relationship in 2012 after having differences in their marriage. The singer has three kids from her first husband.
In her career, Kanika has given many hit item numbers and songs including her latest blockbuster from Pushpa-‘Oo Bolega Ya oo Bolega. She rose to fame with Sunny Leone’s song ‘Baby Doll’. Besides this, she has also judged the singing reality show The Voice India along with Arman Malik and AR Rahman.
