Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt, who recently became the global ambassador for Gucci, on Sunday, jetted off to Seoul for Gucci's 2024 cruise collection show. She was snapped at the Mumbai airport by paparazzi and the actress looked at her stylist best in a denim outfit. However, Alia’s airport OOTD reminded many netizens of Deepika Padukone’s impressive denim looks and they felt Bhatt copied DP’s style. A certain section of people started trolling the Raazi actress, asking why she has started copying Padukone.
In a video shared on a popular paparazzo’s Instagram handle, Alia could be seen entering the airport. She looked fabulous in a white crop top that she paired with an oversized denim overcoat and denim jeans. The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress wore her hair in a sleek hairdo and opted for a minimalist make-up look. Bhatt also stopped for a few seconds to pose for the shutterbugs and smiled. Soon after her video surfaced online, netizens alleged she was trying to copy Deepika. One Insta user commented, “Is she trying to copy deepika padukone style.” Another wrote, “Why do I feel every time she tries to copy DP?? Interestingly, if Alia is receiving criticism for copying DP, not to forget the Piku actress recently faced backlash for sharing her Oscars pictures hours before Alia's Met Gala debut. Fans of Bhatt called Deepika ‘insecure’ and trolled her on social media. However, the Padmaavat actress silenced trolls by turning cheerleader for Alia for her Met Gala 2023 debut.
