KRK reveals he advised Shah Rukh Khan not to do Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathaan’ as he feels it will be a disaster at the box office
Self-proclaimed film critic Kamaal R Khan aka KRK often makes headlines for his controversial tweets and for taking digs at Bollywood actors. Be it slamming Hindi movies, or making derogatory remarks about celebrities, KRK never refrains from expressing his views on social media. Recently, he has miffed Shah Rukh Khan’s fans with his latest tweet. Kamaal R Khan predicted that SRK’s comeback film ‘Pathaan’ will be a sure-shot disaster.
Not just that, he also revealed that he suggested King Khan to not do this film. Taking to his Twitter handle, KRK tweeted, “I suggested @iamsrk to not do films #HappyNewYear #Fan and #JHMS. But he did those films and all 3 films were disasters. Now I suggest him one more time that he should not do #Pathaan because it will become a sure shot disaster.” Soon after he tweeted this, ardent fans of Shah Rukh lashed out at KRK and reminded him that Happy New Year was a blockbuster at the box office. One user tweeted, #HappyNewYear life time business is 408 crore nd budget was 100 crore toh disaster kaise ??? Aur pathan toh pakka blockbuster hoga likh lo tum.” This is not the first time Kamaal R Khan has taken a dig at SRK. Earlier this year, he slammed Bollywood Khans-Salman, Shah Rukh, and Aamir saying their era has come to an end. In his tweet, KRK said, “It’s been said in Islam that ego and jealousy make the biggest reason for one’s destruction. Both things are in abundance in Bollywood’s Khans. So it is obvious, that they faced destruction.”
Meanwhile, ‘Pathaan’ has been directed by Siddharth Anand and marks Shah Rukh’s comeback after a gap of four years. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles and will hit the theatres next year. Needless to say, fans have been eagerly waiting to see King Khan back on the silver screen!
