Arbaaz Khan spoke to Mahesh Bhatt about one of the darkest phases of his life on his new chat show The Invincibles Series with Arbaaz Khan
Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan is hosting a new chat show that features veteran actors and filmmakers talking about their life experiences and struggles. In the recent episode of his show, The Invincibles Series with Arbaaz Khan, the actor spoke to filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt about one of the darkest phases of his life and how he managed to turn himself around.
He recalled an incident where Salim Khan had asked him and his brother Salman Khan to drop a very drunk Mahesh Bhatt at home. He spoke about how they tried to get him home in a cab but the filmmaker had completely forgotten where he lived. The actor’s were left embarrassed by the incident but couldn’t help but giggle at it too. Arbaaz went on to ask him how he managed to do a 360 transition post the incident. Bhatt shared that it was the birth of his second daughter Shaheen that made him realise he had to change his ways. He recalled an incident where he found himself sleeping on the footpath of the JVPD scheme. Quoted by ABP News, he said, “I remember my face was on the concrete and dawn was just breaking. I realised I had gone for some party and I had fallen down on the road and slept there. I remember walking up to my house, I was living with Soni. The Sadak director spoke about the time when Shaheen, his first child with actress Soni Razdan, was born and he had gone to meet her. He said, “I was holding Shaheen in my arms and I went to kiss her, I got this feeling as if she moved away. She couldn't bear the fumes of alcohol. She couldn't have done, she was a baby, but this is what I hallucinated and projected. ”
For the unversed, up until now, Arbaaz has hosted father Salim Khan, Javed Akhtar, his step-mother Helen, Waheeda Rahman, Shatrughan Sinha on his show.
