Fans of Prabhas brutally beat up a man for calling ‘Adipurush’ a below-average film!
Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan starrer mythological drama ‘Adipurush’ was one of the most highly-awaited films of 2023. And amid huge expectations and fanfare, Om Raut’s directorial has finally hit the theatres today. While fans of Prabhas in Hyderabad gathered in huge numbers to celebrate the release of the film, several people were impressed by the mythological drama. One such person shared a negative review of ‘Adipurush’ during public reviews and guess what? he was beaten up badly by fans of the Baahubali star.
In the viral video, a man was seen sharing his views on the film and pointing out the errors in the same. He called the film ‘below average’ and bad. The man was so unimpressed by it that he said it is a huge rod film. He even complained about the poor VFX of the film and said it looked like a PlayStation game. Fans of Prabhas were left shocked hearing him and in no time they picked a fight with the man and started beating him up. Soon after this video surfaced online, netizens slammed the fans bashing the man and demanded to arrest them. One user commented, “Indians don’t know the difference between reality and fiction. Imagine doing all this for person who doesn’t even know you exist. Arrest these idiots.” Another said, “South fans are cult ... They spread all the negativity about bolly movies here but you can't say anything negative about south movies .... I once questioned the collection of PS2 and you should have read the comments.”
Meanwhile, Adipurush stars Prabhas in the role of Lord Ram, while Kriti Sanon plays Janaki in the film. Saif Ali Khan portrays the antagonist Lankesh, the demon king of Lanka in the film. On the other hand, actor Sunny Singh is seen as Lakshmana. It is garnering a mixed reaction from the audience.
