Actor Ranbir Kapoor is currently on a promotional spree for his upcoming film 'Shamshera' which ends his 4 years long hiatus. During media interviews, RK has been making some candid and surprising revelations. In fact, he has been very vocal about embracing fatherhood and has often mentioned that he was planning a baby even before getting married to Alia. Well, in yet another interview, Ranbir made a statement that has left his fans wondering if the couple is expecting twins.
Yes, you read that right! The Rockstar actor seemed to have dropped a major hint about having twins. Speaking with Film Companion, the handsome actor played a game of two truths and one lie. In his reply, Ranbir said, “I am having twins, I am going to be part of a very big mythological film, I am taking a long break from work.” The clip from the interview has gone viral on social media with netizens and fans believing that the first and two statements are true and the third of taking a break is a lie. Going by RK’s statement, it is clear that he revealed he and Alia will have twin babies.
On June 27, 2022, Alia Bhatt took everyone by surprise as she announced expecting her first child with Ranbir. She posted a picture of them from the hospital where they were looking at the sonography with a huge heart emoji in the centre. The post was captioned, Alia wrote, “Our baby ….. coming soon.”
Meanwhile, 'Shamshera' directed by Karan Malhotra, also stars Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor. The film will hit the theatres on 22 July, 2022.
