Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has always cherished his private life. Only sharing small anecdotes from his family life and experiences. However, ever since the birth of his daughter Raha Kapoor, he has been opening up a lot about his life during media interactions. In one such interview he spoke about the legacy of the Kapoor family and how his chartered accountant (CA) asked him to make a will.

Speaking to Film Companion, the 40-year-old actor was asked if he was thinking about his family’s legacy as he was about to embrace fatherhood for the very first time. Commenting on it, he expressed that one thinks of their legacy only when they are retiring. He continued, “It’s too early for me to… I know my CA a couple of months back came to me, asking me, ‘Should we make a will?’ I was like, ‘Will?’ I started getting fearful like am I going to die? Ranbir went on to add that at the time he was only thinking about the kind of father he will be for his kids. He shared how he wasn’t thinking much about the future and was taking every day as it comes, trying to be the best version of himself. The actor said, “So, the truth is, all these things you don’t think about. Right now I’m only thinking about the excitement of having a child, of living a life with the child, how I’m going to be, and what it’s going to be like.” ALSO READ: WHAT! For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Alia Bhatt in April 2022 and welcomed their first daughter in November 2022. 

On the work front, the actor is currently busy promoting his upcoming movie Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, which also stars Shraddha Kapoor in the lead role. The Luv Ranjan directorial marks Ranbir’s return to the rom-com genre. He also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal in his pipeline. The movie stars Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.
