Today marks the first wedding anniversary of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor. The couple got married on April 14, 2022 in an intimate ceremony at the actor’s Mumbai home Vastu. Few months, post their wedding, they embraced parenthood and welcomed their first child, daughter Raha. In a new interview, RK spoke about his marriage with Alia and talks about what kind of husband he thinks he is. Surprisingly, Ranbir believes he is not a “great husband.”
Yes, you read that right! Speaking with Free Press Journal, the Rockstar actor said he is not a great husband, not great son or a brother but he has the desire to be better. Ranbir was quoted saying, “You feel overall you are doing better. But life is such that it is never going to be perfect. I don’t think I am a great son, a great husband, or a brother. Alia and Ranbir’s love blossomed during the shooting of their film Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva. The duo dated each other for several years and kept their relationship hidden from media till the time they got hitched. Their wedding was an extremely private affair with just family members and a few close industry friends including Karan Johar, in attendance.
On November 6, Alia announced the birth of her baby girl via an Instagram post and called her daughter ‘magical.’ Her post read, “And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here...and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love - blessed and obsessed Parents! Love, love, love Alia and Ranbir.”
