Let's reminisce on this anniversary, recalling a noteworthy incident from the set when Ranveer had an intense experience. He strongly believed he encountered the spirit of Peshwa Bajirao, which left him profoundly unnerved. This incident during filming became one of his most challenging days on set, deeply affecting him. In an earlier interview with Deccan Chronicle, Ranveer Singh shared a captivating incident that occurred during the filming of Bajirao Mastani. He recounted an intriguing belief that he encountered the spirit of Peshwa Bajirao, the character he portrayed in the movie. Remarkably, a week before this event, Singh had a passing thought about connecting with the warrior's spirit. Although the initial thought had faded, it resurfaced a week later when he claimed to have witnessed an uncanny sight on the set. He described seeing a black wall covered in white dust that eerily formed the shape of Bajirao, complete with a turban, eyes, nose, mustache, and arms. It was an exceptionally extraordinary experience for him. Reflecting on this occurrence, he had earlier shared, "I started to think what if I encounter his ghost and connect to his spirit and all. I don’t know what made me think of it. But it was the following week that I felt it actually happen. I had a tough task ahead of me on that day of shoot and I was praying hard to get it right. There was a black wall on the sets on which some white dust had settled and formed the pattern in the shape of Bajirao’s figure. It had the turban, the eyes, nose, the mooch and the arms. The resemblance was for all to see."


Expressing his disbelief in ghosts previously, the Padmaavat star recounted how the incident left him profoundly shaken. Describing it as a "trippy experience," he revealed that the encounter had deeply unsettled him, marking one of the toughest days during filming. He shared how his intuition alerted him to the presence of the spirit."It was a very trippy experience, and I completely freaked out. I recall it as one of the most difficult days of the shoot. I thought I felt some kind of presence and something told me it’s him," the actor had expressed.
