The IT couple of Bollywood, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been painting the town red ever since they tied the knot in 2018. From their mushy posts on social media to hyping each others’ projects, they have been setting goals for their fans. While they refrain from divulging in their personal life anecdotes, sometimes they share an experience that leaves their fans gushing. Recently, during a promotional event of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, he opened up about his bond with his mother-in-law Ujjala Padukone.

In a video that has surfaced on the internet, Ranveer can be seen sitting next to his co-star Alia Bhatt while he talks about his mother-in-law. Speaking about Deepika’s family’s reaction to their relationship in the initial years of them being together, he revealed that they never understood it. In the video he says, “Unke palle nahi pada khas kar ke meri mother-in-law ko.” However, as they started spending more time together and started spending more time together, they realised that he is a good guy with a pure heart. For the unversed, the couple fell in love with each other while working together for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2012 movie Ram-Leela. They got married in 2018, six years after dating each other. Being together for more than a decade, they truly are the epitome of couple goals and have set the bar high for all the lovers out there. 

On the work front, last seen in Karan Johar’s comeback directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Ranveer will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra. On the other hand, Deepika Padukone has Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter, Prabhas starrer Project K and the remake of The Intern, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan in the pipeline.
