Shah Rukh Khan's Dunki is out in theatres and it marks his maiden project with acclaimed filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, known for blockbusters like 'Munnabhai MBBS', '3 Idiots', and 'Sanju'. This movie marks the debut collaboration between SRK and Taapsee Pannu, adding a new dynamic to the screen. Interestingly, amidst these new pairings, a familiar duo already worked on the project. Singer Shaan who has lent his voice to King Khan in his several hit movies has sung a romantic track for the film with Shreya Ghoshal. Yes, the 'Tanha Dil' hitmaker recorded a romantic song with the singer in the movie but the director decided to take it out. Reacting to the filmmaker's decision to not include this song in his film Shaan wrote, "Good Morning !!! Aaj #Dunki Day hai … im super excited!! CAN’T WAIT TO SEE IT !! I’m sure Everyone is Going to love the Movie !!! I just want to clear the air about why my song was not part of the film. the song, a beautiful breezy duet ( with @shreyaghoshal) “Durr kahi Durr” was recorded and also picturised in Kashmir .. but on the edit table .. it was #RajuHirani ‘s call to drop the song .. (after a lot of contemplation..) He was very transparent about it with me.. and I really appreciate that.. and I fully understand that the Film is top priority.
