When Aamir Khan’s Brother Faizal Khan Called The Superstar Disloyal; Actor Said, ‘Mein Apne Kutte Ka Naam Kabhi Aamir Nahi Rakhunga’

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan enjoys a huge fan base all over the world. Having impressed the audiences with his versatile performances and choice of movies, the actor is one of the most bankable actors in the Hindi film industry. While he is taking a break from movies as an actor, after the debacle of Laal Singh Chaddha, he often makes the headlines for his personal life. It was in 2007, that his younger brother Faizal had levelled a slew of serious allegations against him.
In an old interview with Lehren Retron, Faizal had opened up about the rivalry between Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan. During the interaction, not only had he claimed that his older brother had named one of his pet dogs Shah Rukh Khan, but also mentioned how he would never name his pet Aamir as dogs are extremely ‘loyal, sensible, sensitive, intelligent,’ and the actor lacks all the mentioned qualities. The 56-year-old had expressed remorse in knowing that his older brother had name a dog after one of his contemporaries. He had told Lehren, “Meine bhi suna tha pehle ki unke yaha jo kutta hai Panchgani mein rehta hai. Unke Panchgani ke bunglow mein jiska naam Shah Rukh hai rakh diya tha yaa maali ne rakh diya tha. He added, “Mein apne kutte ka naam kabhi Aamir nahi rakhunga, kyunki dog jo hota hai kaafi loyal, sensible, sensitive, intelligent, usme yah qualities hoti hai and I think Aamir has none of these qualities.”
For the unversed, in 2007, reports of the bitter relationship shared by Faizal and Aamir started doing rounds. The former even opened up about all the difficulties he had to face because of his brother. He had accused the superstar of keeping him under house arrest as Aamir believed that Faizal was mentally ill. Through his various media interactions, the younger brother also claimed that he would be deprived of the money sent by his father. He had even accused Aamir of sabotaging his career.
