It's not widely known that Arijit Singh once penned a public apology letter to Salman Khan, creating a buzz in the entertainment world. This incident occurred in 2016 when the singer posted an apology letter on his Facebook page addressed to Salman Khan. Arijit clarified that he had never intended to disrespect the actor and wrote: "Dear Mr. Salman Khan, I never imagined I would communicate with you in this manner. I made every effort to reach out to you, through texts, calls, and every possible means, to convey that there was no intention to insult you. I sincerely did not. On that particular evening during the show, the timing and atmosphere were just wrong. Nonetheless, it appears you felt insulted."
Continuing in his heartfelt letter, Arijit Singh openly expressed his deep admiration for Salman Khan. He conveyed that his family had always been ardent fans of the actor and his remarkable talents. Arijit mentioned that he had put forth his utmost effort to extend apologies and provide explanations.
He added, "I deeply understood and felt a profound regret about the incident, considering that both my family and I have been devoted fans of yours for a long time. I made numerous attempts to clarify my position, but it seemed to escape your notice. I sent you apology texts on multiple occasions, as you are well aware. I even revisited Nita Ji's place just to apologize to you, yet you didn't receive it. No problem, I am offering my apology here, before everyone, and I kindly request your understanding."
Arijit Singh passionately implored Salman Khan not to discard a song he had recorded for the actor's film, Sultan. He expressed his desire to retire with at least one of his songs for Salman preserved in his body of work, even though he had sung numerous songs throughout the years. However now the two share a good term with the Bollywood star and even sang a song for his film Tiger 3.
