As Mahesh Bhatt fell in love with Alia Bhatt’s mom Soni Razdan while he was married to his ex-wife Kiran Bhatt, all was not well between the family back then. Talking to Simi Garewal on her talk show Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, Mahesh Bhatt revealed how he opened up about dating Soni Razdan to his daughter Pooja Bhatt and also mentioned he did not hide anything from her. On the chat show, Mahesh Bhatt shared that he told his daughter Pooja everything about Soni Razdan and him even though she was 10-years-old.
Speaking about Pooja Bhatt’s reaction, Mahesh Bhatt said that she just looked at him and shook her head and mentioned that her reaction left him confused as he could not understand what she was trying to say. Opening up further, talking about his kids Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt having issues with Soni Razdan, the Sadak 2 director admitted that things were rough between them in the beginning, and mentioned that there was resentment from his kids as they saw Alia Bhatt’s mom as someone who took their father away from them. Mahesh Bhatt then shared that he let his kids express their rage and anger.
Meanwhile, speaking with Simi Garewal on the same chat show, Soni Razdan also revealed that she had a few fights with Mahesh Bhatt’s ex-wife Kiran Bhatt and mentioned that things settled down when she tied the knot with the filmmaker. Talking about the Bhatt family currently, Mahesh Bhatt’s kids from his first marriage, Pooja Bhatt and Rahul Bhatt share a great bond with Soni Razdan and their step-siblings Alia Bhatt and Shaheen Bhatt.
