It is no secret that veteran actress Rekha is very fond of actor Hrithik Roshan. She is quite vocal about it, be it in starry B-Town parties or award functions, Rekha never shies away from expressing her affection towards Hrithik. To note, they have also worked together in the 2003 blockbuster Koi Mil Gaya, followed by Krrish in 2006. But do you know, Rekha and Hrithik were once caught in an awkward moment while exchanging greetings at an award function ?
Yes, their awkward accident lip-lock, back then, had created a huge stir on social media. For the unversed, it so happened that Rekha, who greets her close ones very warmly, on seeing Hrithik walked closer to greet him. Rekha and the War actor hugged each other and exchanged pleasantries. The actress then hurriedly kissed Hrithik right under his lips instead of his forehead. And, their awkward moment was caught in the camera. Rekha and Hrithik almost got caught in a lip-lock. Both the actors were actually clicked at such an angle that too many it looked like they had lip lock. But, in reality, Rekha had only kissed the actor under his lips.
Back then, their photos went viral on the internet and created a huge noise with many netizens calling out Rekha. Some also badly trolled the actress for the same.
Meanwhile, Rekha played Hrithik's mother in Koi Mil Gaya, and later in Krrish, she essayed the role of his grandmother. Both the movies, directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan were hit at the box office. The Dhoom 2 actor will next be seen in the Hindi remake of the 2017 Tamil Vikram Vedha, which also stars Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, and Rohit Saraf.
