Needless to say, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol come under the category of one of the most celebrated, admired and successful on-screen pairs, and why not? The duo happens to share such sizzling chemistry that automatically sets the big screens on fire. Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have given a streak of classic entertainers like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, My Name Is Khan, Dilwale, Baazigar and Karan Arjun among others. However, their friendship wasn't always the same. During their initial days of working with each other, SRK wasn't very fond of the actor.

As per Pinkvilla, in an old interview during Dilwale, Shah Rukh Khan had revealed how he disliked Kajol while they were shooting for their first film, Baazigar, so much so, that he had advised Aamir to not to work with her. However, upon realising how talented Kajol is, SRK quickly regretted what he said to Aamir. Khan had said, "When I was working with her in Baazigar, Aamir asked me about her as he wanted to work with her. I left him a message saying, ‘She is very bad, no focus, you will not be able to work with her’."

He continued, "And then I saw the rushes in the evening. I kept calling Aamir to clarify. I told him, ‘I don’t know what it is but she is magical on the screen’."

To which, Kajol shared an instance of how they became good friends. In response to the same, SRK had revealed that she has not at all changed over the years and he continues to tell her to ‘shut up’ when required. “I am not very talkative in personal life. Kajol will have an upper hand when it comes to talking over all of us. Even now, I have to tell her to ‘shut up’," added SRK.

Interestingly, the Raees actor had once confessed how he wants his daughter Suhana Khan to take acting classes from Kajol. "Kajol is not technical, she is an honest actor and that’s a great quality. My daughter wants to become an actress and I would want her to learn that. I hope I learn that from Kajol. I can’t explain but she is something else on screen," said the actor.
