At least their little daughter Nitara loves to read is what we know. In a recent video, Twinkle Khanna has shared a long list of children's book that she reads to Nitara. These are not old classics like Cinderella and Snow White, but some new-age books like Who Wants Green Fingers Anyway and Good Night's Stories for Rebel Girls. One of the books got Nitara to ask a very weird question. She asked Twinkle whether she'll ever send daddy Akshay Kumar to jail.

The video put up by Tweak India has Twinkle sharing the list of her favourite kids book. From Freida Kahlo to Who Wants Green Fingers Anyway, the list is amazing. One of the books she mentioned, Good Night's Stories For Rebel Girls, is about a lady named Catherine who throws her husband Peter in jail and becomes the empress of Russia. This got Nitara to ask Twinkle whether she'll ever do this to Akshay Kumar. Mrs Funnybones reveals that she'll never do that as it will be evil. Well, questions that little ones come up with always amuse us, don't they?

Twinkle took to her Instagram account and shared the video with her fans. In the caption, she wrote, "Twinkle Khanna’s favourite books for kids( and their parents ). Tired of reading about Cinderella waiting for her prince, Snow White for a kiss and Beauty for the Beast to change? Then lock them away and read these gems instead. Do let me know what are your favourite books for children in the comments below #bookstagram #TweakBookClub"

Akshay Kumar, do you have any thoughts to share on this?

Tere Naam Actress Bhumika Chawla — Career Down South Going Strong, TV Actress Now Wants To Dive Deep Into Bollywood And Web- EXCLUSIVE
Bhumika Chawla exploded in Bollywood with the film Tere Naam in 2003 opposite Salman Khan. The film’s massive success made us believe that the actress is here to stay, but unfortunately, after a few not so successful films, she disappeared from the Bollywood scene and lent her focus down South.

Now, Bhumika has a new South film called Ruler that’s releasing tomorrow (Dec 20). Ahead of its big screen release, the actress talks about the two big film industries in India, the differences and her upcoming projects.

We begin the conversation by asking Bhumika as to why has she disappeared and the actress states that she has been working non-stop since the past 3 years.

“In 2017, I did a film called MCA (Middle Class Abbayi). I got the Best Supporting Actress Filmfare nomination for the film and the SIIMA Award for Best Supporting Actress and Zee Apsara Award too,” says Bhumika.

Then, she talks about her last year releases, “I did Savyasachi in Telugu, U Turn which was made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously and it’s now being made in Hindi again by Balaji.”

Finally, she gets down to talking about her upcoming release, called Ruler with Balakrishna that’s releasing tomorrow. Then, the topic veers towards web shows and the actress reveals that she did one named Bhram earlier this year with Kalki Koechlin and Sanjay Suri.

This brings us to our next question that with the content on web shows becoming bolder, is she open to steamy scenes on-screen? Bhumika replies with a disclaimer, “If the story really demands it, then maybe I’ll do bold scenes, but I’m not sure of it.”

Well, Bhumika has been MIA from Bollywood since a long time now, so naturally, we ask the actress to tell us the reason. We also go about citing examples of how some artistes call up directors/producers asking for work to which Bhumika says, “Unfortunately, I’m not like that. Maybe I should have done it, but I didn’t. I have not been a social person.” Is she on social media, we ask. “Yes, I am,” comes the answer.

Considering the fact that she has been away from the Hindi film industry, we quiz her if she misses it badly and Bhumika says that she loves working in the South because “I started my career there and I have a certain comfort level. But at the same time, I do miss working in Bollywood because the kind of films or web series that are being made these days are really good. Bollywood is more experimental than the South film industry.”

Finally, the conversation moves to her personal life and we point out the rumours of a fallout between the actress and her husband Bharat Thakur that surfaced in 2011. Defying them, Bhumika stated that they are very much together. “These news don’t make a difference to me. Everyone writes these reports about the biggest of stars, so it doesn’t really matter,” are her parting words.
