Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are one of the most popular onscreen couples in the industry. They have worked together in many films including Baazigar, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and more. They also shared screen space with each other in Dilwale. As many know, Dilwale also featured Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Speaking of Dilwale, the stars once made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their film.
During the show, Varun Dhawan revealed that when he was a child he thought SRK and Kajol were married in real life. It happened after Kapil Sharma said that he remembered watching Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge in a theatre and said his mother was convinced that SRK and Kajol were real-life husband and wife.
Varun chimed in, "Bachpan mein mujhe bhi aisa lagta tha. I thought you all were married. Till I met Gauri Khan ma'am obviously." Recalling an incident from his childhood, the actor shared that he and his friends were collecting funds for a charity. He went to Shah Rukh Khan's house, Mannat, but to his surprise, Gauri opened the door. "Mujhe kuch galat laga uss waqt," he said. Shah Rukh Khan, who is known to have a good sense of humour, then enacted what Varun must have felt and said, "Tum kaun ho/ Kajol ke ghar mein kya kar rahi ho tum." On the work front, SRK will be seen in Pathan. The movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Talking about Varun, he will be seen in Bhediya and Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
