Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin is currently exuding pregnancy glow as she is just a month away from embracing motherhood. The actress even has been treating us with some adorable snaps of herself where she is seen flaunting her baby bump. Even though she is enjoying her pregnancy phase to the fullest, Kalki is also concentrating on her work. Some time back, the mommy-to-be was spotted in the mid of promoting her upcoming horror series, Bhram and she happily flaunted her cute baby bump for the paps. She has been spotting and giving interviews on various platforms but recently she went a little candid as she spoke about the time when she sexually abused and when someone called her a Russian prostitute after Dev D was released.
The time where we usually see moms talking about pregnancy and the after plans, Kalki spoke about the dark side of her life. During an interview with Pinkvilla, she revealed a few problems that she faced in Bollywood as well as Hollywood. She first spoke about the time when she had no work after Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. She was quoted by the portal, saying, “I have literally had eight nine months of no work coming to me. After Dev D, someone referred to her as a ‘Russian prostitute,’ to which, she said, “It was after Dev D that I read someone had said, ‘Where did they get this Russian prostitute from?’ I was like, hey I’m not Russian.”
Meanwhile, the actress was last seen in Sacred Games opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan and Pankaj Tripathi. Talking about her latest web series Bhram which will be coming on Zee 5, the horror series is a psychological and supernatural thriller about a woman’s struggles with reality and illusions.
