Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapoor will soon
be seen sharing the screen space for Karan Johar’s upcoming film Shiddat. As per
a report in a leading daily, Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapoor will be cast as
brothers who will fall for the same girl that is, Alia Bhatt.
Varun Dhawan On-The-Sets With Alia Bhatt
Set during the Indo-Pak era, Varun and Aditya will be
seen having a strained relationship in the movie. Sources have told the
newspaper, “Varun and Aditya will be playing brothers in the film, while
Sridevi and Sanjay Dutt will play their parents. The two brothers will have a
strained relationship throughout the film. While Varun and Aditya play
brothers, Alia is the bone of contention between them. So it’s a love triangle
as well.”
Designer Manish Malhotra has already started work on
costumes for the cast. In order to recreate the 40’s era, a huge set will be
built in the city to shoot the film.
Alia Bhatt Poses For A Photo Shoot
Recently, the Highway actress wrapped shooting for Meghna
Gulzar’s Raazi. The actress kept on posting a lot of pictures on her social
media pages and kept her fans updated about her whereabouts. She was seen
sharing a light moment with the director while shooting for the film in
Kashmir. Raazi will be Alia's first film after a long break. She was last seen
in Dear Zindagi (2016), and then decided to take a sabbatical and enjoy a
vacation.
On the other hand, Varun Dhawan is currently in basking
in the success of Judwaa 2’s. The film is inching towards Rs 100 cr mark, just
within a week of its release.
Coming back to Shiddat, the film is all set to go on
floors early next year.
