Karan Johar’s upcoming multi-starrer film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ has been the talk of the town for obvious reasons. The film that marks KJo’s return to direction after 7 years will reunite Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh after their 2019 blockbuster ‘Gully Boy’. As the cast and crew of the film completes 50 days of shooting, Karan shared a first glimpse of the movie. He posted a bunch of behind-the-scenes videos, which reveal the tone, grand set, romantic ambiance, and more about the flick. The scene that has caught everyone's fancy is Jaya Bachchan's iconic 'puja ki thali 'making a comeback.
Taking to Instagram, the ace filmmaker dropped a video and wrote, “After 7 long years, it gives me such joy and gratitude to be here and announcing that my next #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani, a love story at its heart with the soul of family values - is releasing on 10th February, 2023.See you in cinemas with an abundance of entertainment that we are getting ready for you!.”
The BTS videos show Jaya Bachchan recreating her iconic 'puja ki thali' scene from 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. Alia and Ranveer’s crackling chemistry is simply unmissable. Veteran actors Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi also appear in the video. Karan Johar can also be seen explaining scenes to the cast. One simply can’t fail to take note of so much love, hugs and laughter in BTS clips. The text in the video read, “Rocky, Rani (and) the parivaar are done with 50 days of shoot! But kahani poori hogi in cinemas near you on 10th February, 2023.”
Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh along with the other cast and crew of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ were shooting in Delhi for the past few weeks. Recently, photos showing Alia and Ranveer filming a dance sequence at the Qutub Minar had leaked online.
