The beautiful Nora Fatehi just lived her childhood fantasy! The popular dancer, who was mesmerised by mermaids as a kid, got the chance to turn into one for her upcoming music video. Fatehi makes a spectacular transformation into a mermaid for her next single titled ‘Dance Meri Rani’ with Guru Randhawa. Several pictures of her as a mermaid have taken the internet by storm. Nora looks beautiful in the outfit, which is created and hand-made by celebrated artist Jonathon Mario.
The special costume was custom made in the USA and took over 3 long months to complete. Talking about her experience of turning a mermaid, the Dilbar girl said, “I think mermaids are so mystical. As soon as I put on that outfit, I realized that it looks beautiful, but it was extremely difficult to handle. I had to look beautiful and glamorous while facing the camera, but it was tough to shoot like that. I would be in pain and cry for help. Once in the costume, there was no way I could move by myself.”
It is said that Nora Fatehi took over 2 hours to get into the mermaid look, made with state-of-the-art latex and silicon. The outfit that weighed over 15 kilos took a toll on Nora’s knees and feet during the hours of the shoot. But, despite all difficulties, she gave her best.
Shot in Goa, the music video has been directed by Bosco Leslie Martis. Composed by Tanishk Bagchi, the lyrics have been penned by lyricist Rashmi and the song is crooned by Guru Randhawa and Zahrah S Khan.
'Dance Meri Rani' will be released soon on T-Series' YouTube channel. ALSO READ: Nora Fatehi And Guru Randhawa Spark Off Relationship Rumours After Their Goa Vacation Pictures Go Viral; Curious Fans Ask, ‘Are They Dating?
