Bet you all know that the release of Hero, which marks the debut of Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty, has been delayed. Salman Khan, who is launching the two star kids, has pushed the release date to September 25.

Why? That’s because Salman feels Sooraj and Athiya should create more buzz amongst the public before their film hits the theatres. An extensive publicity campaign, spearheaded by Salman, is being planned to make the two newbies a household name.
Plus, since it was originally meant to release on July 3, the Kick star was worried that it would have to compete with his Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which releases on July 16. The mentor knew that the competition would not have been fair on the newbies.
So being the perfect mentor that he is, he took the safe route.
