Yaariyan Actor Himansh Kohli Supports Shilpa Shetty, Says ‘I Just Hope The Mess Gets Sorted’
Himansh Kohli has now extended his support to Shilpa Shetty. He says he hopes everything gets sorted soon
After Hansal Mehta and actress Richa Chadda, actor Himansh Kohli has come out in full support of Shilpa Shetty. The actress has been facing a lot of heat after her husband Raj Kundra got embroiled in a controversy. The Yaariyan actor has expressed his disappointment over this, and said the industry accepts everyone irrespective of their past. He quoted Sunny Leone as an example.
Himansh said, “The industry is a safe and open space for everyone. We have not only accepted but celebrated actors like Sunny Leone.” He said he doesn’t know what the real picture is, but it is dreadful to see Shilpa's name being dragged in it. “I don’t really know the real picture behind this case, but it’s dreadful that Shilpa Shetty, who is so renowned, loved and respected, is being dragged into all this. I just hope the mess gets sorted for their family soon," he said.
He also spoke about the bold content in web series, “I would not call them bold scenes in the first place. I think it’s an expression of true reality, which is nothing less than an art piece. But, yes sometimes they are put up as the cover image of videos or shown in trailers/teasers which is a sick way of making your content stand out from others.”
Shilpa Shetty recently penned a long Instagram post, urging people to respect the privacy of her children and her family. She asked people to not cast aspersions on her without knowing the reality. Her sister Shamita Shetty has been standing by her in such trying times.
