Yami Gautam-Aditya Dhar CONFIRM Pregnancy During Article 370’s Trailer Launch; Filmmaker Says, ‘This Film Is A Family Affair’
Aditya Dhar profoundly announced that his wife Yami Gautam is pregnant with their first child during the trailer launch of Article 370
Actress Yami Gautam and filmmaker Aditya Dhar are one of the most adored Bollywood couples on the internet. Having fallen in love whil working together on URI: The Surgical Stike, they tied the knot among their close friends and family members in 2021. Well, they are all set to take the next step in their relationship. During the trailer launch event of their upcoming film Article 370, the couple proudly announced that they are pregnant with their first child.
On Thursday afternoon, Aditya proudly revealed that his wife is five and a half months pregnant with their first child. Talking about the same, he stated that the movie Article 370 is a family affair as not only are his brother and wife a part of the film but also their baby. Quoted by the Indian Express, he said, “This film is a family affair. My brother was there, my wife was there and there is a baby on its way. It was an amazing time, the way the film happened, the way we got to know about the baby.”
The 35-year-old actress also spoke about her journey and her experience of working on the film after finding out that she was pregnant. Calling the experience mentally draining, she expressed how she could write a thesis on it as firsts are always challenging. She credited her husband for being by her side throughout the shooting process.
Yami went on to add, “There was a rigorous training that was involved for the film. You want to be cautious, careful and I am thankful to all the doctors who were supervising this secretly. We were mostly left with the talking portions (by the time I was expecting a baby) so we could manage. But this felt surreal, because the baby was also a part of it. Some of the inspiration also came from how I saw my mother work her way through.”
On the work front, last seen in OMG 2 alongside Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, she will be next seen in Aditya Suhas Jambhale directorial Article 370. Set to release on February 23, the movie also stars Priyamani in the lead role.
