Akshay Kumar is in the news past few days for his professional ventures. After sharing the first look of his film Gold, Akshay shared a video on his social media handle, inviting people to start auditioning for his upcoming comedy based reality show- The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 5.
And now we have some more scoop from the show.
SpotboyE.com has it that besides Akshay Kumar, there will be 3 mentors on the show who will groom the contestants. Out of these 3, 2 have been finalised while the search for the 3rd one is still on.
The 2 mentors who have come on board to share the stage with king of comic timing- Akshay Kumar are YouTube sensations- Mallika Dua and Zakir Khan.
Mallika Dua, who also starred in Bindass’ web series- The Trip along with Lisa Haydon, has garnered a lot of limelight in the recent past with her epic comedy videos which go viral in no time on the digital platform. She has also collaborated with AIB to churn out some hilarious content on social media.
Zakir Khan, on the other hand, is a big name in the world of stand-up comedians. He rose to popularity by winning Comedy Central's India's Best Stand-Up Comedian competition. Like Mallika Dua, Zakir Khan has also worked with AIB in a few videos.
Akshay's love for comedy is known to all and a show that has given us comedians like Kapil Sharma, Chandan Prabhakar, Sunil Pal and others will definitely have an edge this year with Akshay judging them.
Coming back to Mallika and Zakir’s immense popularity on social media, it will be interesting to see their camaraderie with Bollywood’s Superstar- Akshay Kumar.
