Zareen Khan Disappointed With Her Experience At A Renowned Hospital In Mumbai; Says: 'I Have Had A Very Disturbing Experience'

Salman Khan's Veer co-star Zareen Khan recently expressed that she is very disappointed with a Mumbai based hospital, Lilavati Hospital. The actress posted an IGTV on her Instagram sharing the ordeal of her 'disturbing' experience at the hospital after she took her maternal grandfather (nana) for his urinary tract infection. In the long video, she is heard explaining that late at night, Zareen's grandfather was unwell and feeling uneasy due to the infection in the urinary tract. On reaching Lilavati hospital, there was a COVID ward set up in the basement of the hospital and the attendant asked her to enter the ward without considering her grandfather's age. After entering the hospital, the staff checked their temperatures and oxygen levels. However, despite the results being normal, she was aghast about the attendants asking her to do a COVID test for her grandfather and CT scan of his chest. Upon doing so, then they will allow them to go to the casualty ward.
Even though everything was normal, she then insisted to take her grandfather to the casualty ward as his health was deteriorating, but she said that they were 'rude' to her and wasn't paying any heed to her requests. Khan also mentioned how they have made this a business as she was heard saying, "I used to hear from friends and acquaintances that whatever happens, do not go to the hospital during this period as they have made it as a business and after last night's experience, it feels that way. So I thought that I should share with you that my maternal grandfather is so old and needs treatment, yet they did not understand. What we are calling COVID warriors, in fact, when we need them, they are treating us like this."
While sharing the video on her Instagram account, she mentioned being disappointed and ashame. "Disappointed with @lilavatihospital.official! This happened last night. No help provided to my 87yr old grandfather who was in so much pain. #Shame #Disappointed #ZareenKhan" her caption read.

Even a few netizens have said that COVID-19 has become a scam. A user wrote, "Not each and every hospital do this. but yes big name big brand hospitals don't care people, they just make money, and treat you like a client not as a patient who really need medical attention first." While another one commented, "No humanity left now. The only business in hospitals. They have lost their ethics.
