Mohammed Zeeshan Ayub, who enthralled the audience with his brilliant performance in Raanjhaanaa as Dhanush’s bestie, will soon step into the shoes of Naseeruddin Shah for the remake of Katha.
The brilliant theatre actor, recently blessed with a baby, has often been spotted with the director of the remake, Khalid Mohamed. And talks with him are in advanced stages to play the part in the contemporary Katha. The filmmaker is currently hunting for a new face to play Deepti Navals role, the common love interest for the two leading men in the film. The role of the other leading men will be played by Sohum.
Khalid recently posted on his Facebook page, “Saluting Sai Paranjpye...And so the pre-production starts on the remake of Katha in which I hope and pray to do my guru proud.”
